Since 1998 InterAct has served as a strategic partner in innovative media design, financing and producing series for television and the Internet that combine journalism and citizen engagement.
Our founders were pioneers in creating US-Soviet “spacebridges” and other innovative formats for face-to-face communications across continents. Internews Interactive was a founding partner in the creation of the Link TV national satellite channel in 1999.
Broadcast projects have included the TV and web environmental video series This Planet, and public TV programs about international coverage of US presidential elections.
Citizen Channel

Face-to-Face TV
Internews Interactive’s senior staff were instrumental in the creation of two-way satellite dialogues between the US and USSR in the 1980’s. These Emmy Award-winning “spacebridges” contributed to glasnost and helped open the way for independent media companies across the former Soviet Union, as well as inspiring innovative spin-off formats, like the “Vis à Vis” series that aired on European and American TV channels.
